The 2023 Walmart Canada Toy Digest for the holiday season was designed as a high-energy seasonal shopping guide that balances playful storytelling with clear retail communication. Created for the holiday season, the layout brings together bright festive patterns, large-scale product photography, branded character moments, and bold price messaging to help families browse toys quickly and joyfully.
The design system uses holiday-inspired icons, gift-wrap patterns, badge treatments and rollback callouts. Each spread is structured to feel fun and discovery-driven while still maintaining strong hierarchy across product names, pricing, savings, exclusive items and promotional offers. The result is a digest that feels cheerful, accessible and highly shoppable, capturing the excitement of holiday gifting while supporting a clear path to purchase.
The Walmart Toy Digest 2023 was on top of most liked holiday toy catalogue of the year list, with only 4% going straight to recycle and 1 out of 5 kept after holiday season.
